We are thrilled to share information about the Eritrean Parents & Children’s Association (EPCA) Supplementary School, an excellent educational initiative for the Eritrean community in North Kensington.
About EPCA
Established in 1992, the EPCA was formed to support the growing number of refugees arriving in North Kensington from Kuwait, Libya, Iraq, and Eritrea. The association runs both a supplementary school and a youth club, offering a range of activities designed to support and enrich the lives of young Eritreans.
Supplementary School Details
The supplementary school provides additional educational support to help children excel academically and stay connected with their cultural heritage.
Youth Club Activities
Alongside the supplementary school, EPCA operates a youth club that offers various activities to help young people build confidence and social skills in a safe environment. Activities include:
Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) Support
EPCA has experience and training in supporting children with low-level Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. While they do not offer 1:1 support, they are willing to discuss how they can best accommodate your child’s needs.
